L platform for working "around the pole"
Overhead maintenance vehicles from Schörling Rail Tech stand out from all other models in one important aspect: whether it is the shear or the telescopic arm, both designs are the result of our own development activity that is carried out in the same factory for vehicle fittings and railway equipment.
The company’s predecessor Schörling wagon construction works at Hanover-Linden was known for its tower wagon, much before the advent of sky-lifts and telescopic poles. Almost equally popular among road and rail work contractors and other service providers and very successful in the actual deployment are the assembling and maintenance vehicles equipped with a telescopic arm, mostly in combination with on-vehicle workshop cabins and additional equipment supplied by renowned companies (loading cranes, measuring current collectors, etc.).
The 3-component, heavy duty and compact telescopic arm is manufactured in our own workshop using steel or aluminium.
It carries an L shaped maintenance platform that is manufactured using wood, aluminium or synthetic material. Thanks to its unique shape, it is possible to accommodate the entire lifting device very narrowly and compactly folded on the carrier vehicle while allowing an optimally wide radius of action, and to conveniently work "around the pole".
