Variants as per client specifications
For cleaning track grooves on tramway rails, until now there was mainly one dominant technology: scrapers wedged into the groove by an auxiliary axle loosen the solidified dirt, which is then suctioned out.
Another development in the cleaning technology is comparatively revolutionary: water that is sprayed under pressure up to 1000 bar precisely into the groove can be used for cleaning it more effectively; the rail head profile and the points also are washed simultaneously.
Ideally, in the case of such vehicles from Schörling Rail Tech all structural elements – such as the groove, rail head profile, rail surface and point cleaning systems – are combined into a single rail vehicle machine provided with a hydrostatic drive and built between the truck axles. Incidentally, all assembling work is done in our own factory.
In addition, other variants are manufactured as per customer’s specifications, for example, rail bed cleaning systems provided with rear suction equipment in a combination of rotating high pressure washing jets for cleaning tunnel walls. Additional fixtures like rear hose outriggers, lateral circular brooms, point and curve greasing devices, high pressure washing spray-guns, etc. can be made as attachments.
